The next big game on what seems to be a jammed Xbox slate in 2025 is Avowed.
Coming from the wizards at Obsidian Entertainment, this fully fledged RPG is set in Eora, spun off from the Pillars of Eternity universe, and offers might, magic and mystery and will be available on Steam and going straight into Xbox Game Pass on February 18th.
However, you can get slightly earlier hands on with the game by purchasing the Avowed Premium Edition, letting you jump in from February 13th.
This Premium Edition will also include Two Premium Skin Packs, presumably for customising your character, and access to the Avowed Digital Artbook and Original Soundtrack.
So far, the game doesn’t seem to have confirmed any post launch DLC or major updates, but there’s a distinct feeling this one is ripe for expansion.
In Avowed, you’ll mix and match swords, spells, guns and shields, enabling you to combine them in cool, creative and unique ways all while exploring different environments and landscapes with their own ecosystems. You’ll even be able to bring some companions along for the ride.
Avowed launches on PC and Xbox beginning on February 13th with Advanced Access.
