Back 4 Blood is just a few short weeks away and seems to be the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead we’ve all been waiting for.
There’s quite a few different versions to check out, though, which might be a tad confusing for those looking to purchase.
Fortunately, we’ve taken a look at everything to help you make the most informed choice.
The Standard Edition of the game will entitle you to a pre-order bonus of the Hope Elite Weapon Skins.
The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will give you 4 Days Early Access to the game (beginning August 5th) as well as the Annual Pass which entitles you to three upcoming DLC packs. These include new story, characters, and Special Mutated Ridden.
The Ultimate Edition, on the other hand gives you all the above as well as a 4 Character Battle Hardened Skin Pack and additional in-game items, Rare Bannerm Emblem, Spray and Title.
DLC
We don’t know what the exact content in the Back 4 Blood DLC looks like, but what we do know is that Turtle Rock are not locking it away from gamers.
Essentially, if you’re partying up with someone who has the DLC and they’re the leader of the party, for as long as you stay together, you will also be able to access that content whether you own it or not.
On top of that, cross-platform will be in the game and it will launch Day One on Xbox Game Pass! Seems like the multiplayer community is being well looked after from the very beginning.
Back 4 Blood launches on PC, PS5 and Xbox on August 9th!
