An enormous new patch has just gone live for Baldur’s Gate 3, adding Mac Support and a Magic Mirror.
As we head into the weekend, there’s a huge list of fixes, changes and improvements to refine the experience, but from a content perspective you can also change your appearence whenever the mood takes.
Using the Magic Mirror, players will be able to change their appearance, voice, pronouns and nether regions at any point, but race/subrace and body type cannot be altered. Also, if you’re playing as an Origin character, they cannot use the Magic Mirror.
The other big story is that you can now play the full Baldur’s Gate 3 experience on Mac. Previously, players had been limited to the Early Access version. As with the PC version, though, your EA saves will be incompatible with the full version.
There’s also an enormous list of updates, some of which contain story spoilers, but you’ll find everything from combat tweaks to cinematic updates.
Check out the changelog if you dare…
Baldur’s Gate 3 is out now on PC, Mac and PlayStation 5. An Xbox Series X|S is in development and also expected this year.
