Borderlands 3 is releasing on September 13th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and there’s a ton of digital DLC.
Featuring new worlds, guns, gadgets and hunters, Borderlands 3 is going to be jammed with content, especially if you pre-order.
There are four editions of Borderlands 3 with the standard version offering you the pre-order bonus of Gold Weapon Skins and a Weapon Trinket.
Upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, though, and you get four additional digital bonus packs.
The Retro Cosmetic Pack will give you a Vault Hunter head and skin, as well as an Echo Device skin and weapon skin.
The Neon Cosmetic Pack also offers more Vault Hunter cosmetics and Echo Device skins, but this time you’ll get a weapon trinket.
The Gearbox Cosmetic Pack is a little different, giving a Weapon Skin and Weapon Trinket.
Finally, the Toy Box Weapon Pack gives you 2 Toy Guns, a Toy grenade mode and weapon trinket.
You’ll also get the previously mentioned pre-order bonus and XP & Loot Drop Boost Mods.
The big news is that Borderlands 3 is also getting a Season Pass and if you buy the Super Deluxe Edition it comes included, as well as a Butt Stallion weapon skin, trinket and grenade mod.
The Season Pass will contain four campaign DLC packs which all offer new stories, missions, and challenges. No word on what these are as yet.
The major announcement comes today as Borderlands Game of the year Edition releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, offering Ultra HD, all DLC, and QoL improvements.
Additionally, an Ultra HD Texture Pack increases visual fidelty of The Handsome Collection, Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel.
It has also been confirmed that Borderlands 3 will be exclusive to the Epic Store when it launches on PC later this year.
More Borderlands 3 details are expected on May 1st.
