Borderlands 3 has received a massive end-game update which adds tons of new modifiers and legendaries.

The game’s Mayhem Mode has now been updated to version 2.0 which now lets you adjust difficulty for better rewards.

Mayhem Mode now features 25 new game-changing modifiers, such as Galaxy Brain – Big Head Mode – and a Drone Ranger setting which adds Healing Drones to Assisting enemies.

Interestingly, the ratings and stats of weapons improve when you progress through Mayhem levels. And starting at Level 6, there’s a chance certain bosses will drop one of the brand new Legendary weapons.

Meanwhile, a new Event has gone live in the game – Revenge of the Cartels. This runs from today through to June 4 and features a new area, different enemy types, limited challenges and more gear.

Both are free updates for the game and are available to download now.
