Announced during Nintendo Direct last night, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! will release March 20th with exclusive pre-order DLC on Switch and PS4.

Both Switch and PS4 owners will get one buddy the same for a digital pre-order and unlock the Alpha DLC buddy in Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! This little dude has an ability called ‘Chocobo Drop’ where it does a tail attack on enemies within a 1-tile radius.

For any digital pre-orders on the Nintendo e-Store, players will receive an exclusive buddy chocobo ‘Machinist’ DLC. This cute little guy is all dressed up with goggles and armor and will assist you in any way possible as you play the game.

PlayStation 4 owners, meanwhile, will get their own exclusive buddy in the form of a Chocobo Beastmaster DLC who also looks super cute with his ram-like horns. PS4 owners also get the added bonus of a PS4 theme, and PS4 Network Avatar Bundle.

Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! is a reimagining of the 2007 original Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon and adds unique dungeons, local co-op, and a new buddy system where you can call monsters and other characters to your aid as you fight through randomly generated dungeons.

Additionally, Final Fantasy 9 was finally released on both Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and Xbox One last night, adding all the improvements from the PS4 version, including auto-save functionality, high definition movies and characters and more.

Final Fantasy VII will join it soon after on March 26th on the same platforms, again boasting the same improvements such as auto-save, enemy encounter options and more.
