We may have to wait until 2023 for Phantom Liberty but Cyberpunk 2077 does have some new content today.
A major new update, 1.06 entitled Edgerunners is out now and ties in with the upcoming Netflix anime, Cyberpunk Edgerunners that launches September 13.
Lots of new features have been included, alongside new missions and cosmetics. There are now equippable items which you’ll see in the Netflix show added in the game, such as the jacket David Martinez has in the show and a shotgun.
Wardrobe is now accessible from any apartment or safehouse and you can save up to six outfits within your inventory.
There’s also cross-platform progression, meaning you can upload a save to the cloud and continue your game on a different platform.
You can use Nibbles the Cat in Photo Mode now, and gather new weapons and secrets within Night City to help you in your adventures.
Finally, Roach Race has been added to arcade cabinets, offering a fun little 2D platforming mini game that ties into The Witcher series. You can even earn prizes for playing. And if you like it that much, download on iOS and Android for free.
