A brand new cinematic trailer starring Idris Elba has dropped today for Phantom Liberty.

This one is significant as it provides some back-story for the upcoming DLC and really sets the stage before you dive into Phantom Liberty proper on September 26.

This adds a compelling hook to the story and builds up some real drama ready for when we can finally drop in. Not long to wait now.

During a Night City Wire event today, CD Projekt RED released the soundtrack for everyone to listen to and download.

It was also revealed that the long awaited 2.0 update will drop five days before the new expansion on September 21.

This major update includes a refined skill tree with redesigned perks, revamped cyberwear and capacity, as well as AI improvements, car chases, updates to UI, new radio stations and more.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty then follows on September 26th across PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
