Speculation is increasing that the long-awaited “next-gen” upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077 could arrive as soon as today.
CD Projekt RED announced yesterday that they have a date to share with us and are ready to ‘talk things’ – That update is expected today at 4pm CET on their Twitch stream.
So, choom, how ’bout a date? We’ll talk things, y’know.
You’re in? Preem!
Let’s meet tomorrow, Feb 15th, at 4PM CET, at the usual place: https://t.co/y8iUIM0gBv.

This follows a recent leak where a social media account – @PlaystationSize – managed to find an updated cover art for the game while combing through the back-end of the PlayStation store. They went a step further and said they expect it to release mid-Feb to Early March.
Then, just yesterday, Tom Warren from The Verge spotted that Cyberpunk 2077 is now showing as ‘Optimised for Xbox Series X|S. This is a very recent change. He’s even suggested it’s coming to Xbox Game Pass as the game is set up with cloud gaming enabled. Wow!
We have also been made aware that some people have received 66GB updates for Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam. All the evidence is pointing towards a shadowdrop and this would fit in with the Q1 2022 timescale that CD Projekt Red set.
As for what else to expect, we are expecting to hear about some of the additional content coming for the game and what the roadmap will look like. We know there’s plenty of DLC in development, so we’ll almost certainly get our first look at that soon.
What a time to launch it in with Dying Light 2 now out there, Horizon: Forbidden West hitting this Friday and Elden Ring just right around the corner. February just got a whole lot busier.
