The will they, won’t they saga of Dark Souls 2 DLC has finally been answered.
Yes, Dark Souls 2 will get DLC. In fact, it will get three packs.

In a trilogy of content known as The Lost Crown, the packs are called Crowns of the Sunken King, Crowns of the Iron King and Crowns of the Ivory King.
These crowns hold the strength of times long past and are presumably related to some big, bad-ass boss battles. The video shows our hero fighting plants and diseased creatures and beings, as well as fire-breathers and oversized lizards.
No word on release dates yet. The content hasn’t even been officially announced yet, but it’s definitely real. That much is clear.
