The free update for Darkest Dungeon 2 – Secrets of the Coven – has now made its way to more platforms.

As of today, you can check out the free update on both Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.

This was already previously available on PC, Mac and PlayStation, and is the second of three planned Kingdoms game mode modules for the game.

Among other things, Secrets of the Coven includes inn storage, improved hero path comparisons, a new quest, enemy faction, items and more.

Kingdoms is a new, free game mode that’s been added to Darkest Dungeon 2, and ‘introduces a fresh, reimagined structure alongside three adventure modules’. This began with Hunger of the Beast Clan, and will see one further update release later this year.

Other updates due to come this year include improved mod support, hero reworks, origin skins and more surprises.

Another update for Darkest Dungeon II is also in the works ‘the Steadfast Steward’s Update’ which is a joint effort between the community and Red Hook Games, focused on quality of life improvements.
