You may not have even finished the main campaign yet of Assassin’s Creed Unity, but Ubisoft doesn’t care. They’ve got DLC to launch and you’re going to play it.
How do I know that? Because you’re getting it for free. Due to the blunders and mishaps Unity experienced upon launch, Ubisoft apologised by stating that the first of their two pieces of DLC for Assassin’s Creed Unity would be completely free of charge. How generous.
The DLC continues the story of Arno from the conclusion of Unity and sees him leave Paris for Saint Denis, a mysterious French city full of ancient dead French Kings. As the PR blurb goes…
Sent on a mission to the extensive underground of the Basilica, Arno will face a faction of new foes, the Raiders, populating its catacombs. Equipped with a lantern and a new powerful weapon, the Guillotine gun, Arno will have to navigate the dangerous passageways to uncover the darkest secrets of the city.
The single-player campaign is only part of the action, however. Dead Kings has lots more Murder Mysteries, Engimas, Cooperative missions and more. There’s more gear to unlock and new weapons to fend off enemies with. All in a great day’s work…
Xbox One and PC owners get the content on January 13th, whereas PS4 owners have to wait a little longer and will receive it on January 14th.
To tide you over until next week, here’s a little trailer to whet your appetite for Dead Kings..
