Confirmed during Quakecon, The Elder Scrolls Online and DOOM Eternal will be the first Bethesda games confirmed for next-gen upgrades.
If you own either game on Xbox One or PS4, you’ll be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version free of charge.
Neither game has been confirmed for launch of the new consoles, but we do know that both titles will support backwards compatibility when new consoles launch.
We’re due to receive announcements about next-gen enhancements and release windows in the coming weeks, and Bethesda have potentially hinted at other games getting the same treatment.
Personally, I definitely wouldn’t mind more Wolfenstein 2 or Prey with added enhancements. Though I think I’ll be more than satisfied diving into both TESO and DOOM Eternal on new systems
