The next major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV has been revealed and will launch in Fall 2021.
Endwalker will conclude the narrative arc started in A Realm Reborn and is the fourth major expansion for the game following the recent Shadowbringers.
Releasing on PC, PS5, PS4, and Mac, will also represent something of a new beginning for the game by adding a healer job – Sage – to the game.
Endwalker will take players to Thavnair, through the Imperial Capital of Garlemald, and even take you to the moon, while also raising the level cap to 90!
As also expected from a new major expansion, there will be new enemies, dungeons, raids, and PVP content, along with updates to the Gold Saucer, a new Residential district, a ‘Trust’ system ally, and new gear.
Endwalker adds a wealth of new material to a game still being played by over 20 million people and may well see a greater surge to come with the announcement of an imminent PS5 release.
You can jump into Final Fantasy XIV right now with a free trial which includes all A Realm Reborn and Heavensward content, taking you up to Level 60, so now may be as good a time as any to join in.
Endwalker releases Fall 2021 across all current platforms.
