Presumably, to tie in with the upcoming TV series, Fallout 4 is getting the current-gen treatment.
Revealed on the Bethesda blog to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series, a free next-gen update is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to add 4K and high framerates.
It’s not the first time the game has had an upgrade, with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro users getting their own upgrade, but this time the game is getting a host of improvements and enhancements. There will also be Creation Club content.
With Starfield also launching next year, it’s going to be a massive year for Bethesda and also the first one they remain a primarily Xbox based developer and publisher.
No word on a release date but this one will be tiding us over until Fallout 5 probably and that’s not happening anytime soon.
