The long-awaited release date for FIFA 21 and Madden 21 on next-gen consoles has been confirmed for December 4th.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S l X owners will be able to play an updated version of both games, designed for the new systems in just a few short weeks.
We don’t have any official assets to accompany the reveal today, though we now know the game will have ‘blazing fast load times’ on both consoles, as well as ‘deferred lighting and rendering’.
Further, we know there will be ‘enhanced animation technology’ ‘off-ball humanisation’ and more. Eurogamer have also indicated that the PS5 version will ‘make use of the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback’.
EA have introduced a Dual Entitlement scheme which means if you own the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you will get a free upgrade for the next-gen version of the game. This is only eligible up to the launch of FIFA 22 and Madden 22.
