Nordic Games have announced that the fifth instalment of DLC for Painkiller Hell & Damnation, Heaven’s Above, is available to download as of now from Steam. It has also been revealed that the Painkiller Hell & Damnation will be made available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 console owners on June 28th.
Taking players out of the first person shooter perspective, it presents itself as a top-down shooter for the first time ever in any Painkiller game. Players will have the ability to take in more of the action as they take control of the battlefield from above.
Five new campaign maps will be included in the DLC pack: Graveyard, Town, Babel, Angkor, and Pentagon, available to play in both single player or co-op mode. Players can use any of the original weapons (including the throwable mine) from Painkiller Hell & Damnation to defeat bigger and better bosses in exciting new battles.
Features include:
- Control the battlefield from above
- The five campaign maps (Graveyard, Town, Babel, Angkor, and Pentagon) which are available in both single player and co-op modes.
- Encounter one of the hardest big guys in Purgatory: The Stone Golem aka Oriental Demon
- New power-ups and environmental weapons (including howitzer gun, fire traps, electro shockers and squeezers)
- New Steam achievements
- All weapons from the original PKHD including the throwable mines
Painkiller Hell & Damnation will also be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 console owners from June 28th. Hurrah!
