To celebrate the game finally going gold, a brand new Omen trailer has gone live in addition to some new details about the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass.
Omen is a cinematic collaboration between Square and DIGIC Pictures – creators of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV – and paints the picture for a catastrophic future for Noctis’ father, King Regis.
With Final Fantasy XV finally being completed, the attention has now shifted toward the content in the Season Pass which will release alongside the game for £19.99.
There will be three episodes within the Season Pass and the content will be spread out through 2017. Each episode takes place during the events of Final Fantasy XV and features one of Noctis’ best friends as a playable character. Each episode will also have a playstyle that suits that character.
Episode Gladiolus will be the first DLC, and will then be followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto.
In addition, there will be an expansion pack with a new online co-op mode for 4 players called Comrades which will follow the three pieces of storyline content. Players will be able to take control of Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto. This will also be included in the Season Pass.
All pieces of content will be managed by Haruyoshi Sawatrai and Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabatha, along with core members of the Final Fantasy XV team.
Final Fantasy XV will FINALLY release on November 29th on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
