Another huge indie get for Nintendo Switch – The Flame in the Flood Complete Edition releases on the eShop October 12
The eShop also advertises it as the Complete Edition, meaning we’re getting the definitive version which was originally exclusive to Playstation 4 earlier this year.
It includes new gameplay enhancements, as well as a Director’s Commentary mode which can be played over the top of the game.
The Flame in the Flood is a procedurally generated rogue-like which can be likened to Don’t Starve meets Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, in that you gather resources, hunt, scavenge and forage your way through your surroundings.
It’s a wonderful game that comes complete with a soundtrack from Chuck Ragan and really seems to suit the portability of Switch.
This comes just days after a week that had Stardew Valley, Axiom Verge, Oxenfree, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and Volgarr the Viking. Incredibel!
The Flame in the Flood is currently scheduled to release alongside Tiny Barbarian DX, Sine Mora, Unbox, Neon Chrome, Yono and the Celestial Elephants, and 88 Heroes.
