OXM have grabbed the details from Halo Waypoint, and we’ve learned a lot more about the upcoming Forge Mode Playlists on the way for Halo 4.
Fans have waited a long time for Forge Mode maps to appear in regular matchmaking. People have created with Halo for years, and its about time that was appreciated.
With the return of Spartan Ops this Monday, a ‘Community Forge Test’ Playlist will appear and introduce community-made Forge maps to Halo 4.
After a gruelling sleection process with the assistance of Community Cartographers, the first batch of community favorite maps will feature a variety of 4 vs 4 game types. Feedback and bug reporting will be encouraged and reviewed by the Matchmaking Systems Team, and should be logged in this Waypoint thread.
The full list of maps will be revealed this weekend on the Halo Waypoint forums, along with individual threads dedicated to each of the maps once the playlist goes live.
This promises to give Halo more of a community feel than ever, and will see regular updates. We’ll let you know as soon as we get more details on the upcoming maps.
