Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels launches July 19, Playground offers first look at content

It seems just a short time ago that Forza Horizon 5 blew all of us away at Expansive so it seems like the perfect time to dive back in.

Hot Wheels are coming back to Forza in a big way with an all-new piece of content. There are going to be four huge biomes added into the game, including Giant’s Canyon, Ice Cauldron, Forest Falls, and Horizon Nexus.

Of course, there’s also a wealth of new cars, ten in total, and these are…

  • 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro
  • 2012 Hot Wheels Bad to the Blade
  • 2013 Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker
  • 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II
  • 2021 Hennessey Venom F5
  • 2019 Brabham BT62
  • 2006 Mosler MT900 GT3
  • 2020 Sierra Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA
  • 2018 Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar
  • 2019 Italdesign DaVinci Concept

On top of that there’s new Achievements to further bulk out your Gamerscore and the ‘Hot Wheels Academy’ which is an all-new campaign that kicks off with Class B and lets you move through various car classes up to X class.

All bundled in with new Seasonal Events, additions to the Festival Playlist and a five part Horizon Story. Sounds awesome!
