It’s Monday and you know what that means – another casual Microsoft remaster announcement!
Following the shock announcement (and release!) Of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion just a few weeks ago, Xbox have just announced the Gears of War comeback is on. Though we have to wait a bit longer this time.
Gears of War: Reloaded has been confirmed to release on August 26 on Xbox, PC and GamePass. But this time, it’s also coming to PlayStation 5 for the first time ever!
Rumoured for quite some time, Gears of War: Reloaded is a full remaster of the original game in full 4K and fully supporting cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms.
Launching August 26 for $39.999 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, Steam and PlayStation 5, as well as going straight into Xbox Game Pass, Gears of War: Reloaded offers full 120 FPS full multiplayer, 60 FPS for campaign and the most ambitious take on multiplayer for the series yet.
Put together by The Coalition, Xbox fans who also own Gears of War: Ultimate Edition digitally will get a free upgrade to Gears of War: Reloaded if they owned it prior to today’s announcement.
