Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation 4 introduces PvE Guerilla Mode as final DLC

Ghost Recon Wildlands last free update of Year 2 is Guerilla, a PvE wave-based mode which can be played solo or co-operatively.

Special Operation 4 concludes Year 2 of post-launch DLC for Ghost Recon Wildlands which began with Sam Fisher last year.

This update also adds a Ghost War PVP Update and further community requested features.

The aim of Guerilla is to defend key locations from enemy factions, using strategically placed traps and selected enemies. As expected, the deeper into the waves you get, the tougher the challenge becomes.

Between waves, you can visit a workshop and trade earned Prestige Credits for new weapons, parts and skills. Beating enemies also earns you XP, Resources, and Exclusive Rewards.

Two new maps are also added in for Ghost War and a new Sapper class who uses concussion mines to supress his enemies.

As for community feedback, Ghost Recon Wildlands is adding a Time of Day feature which can also now be set during play time, and there is a campaign compass, directing you to your next objective. There’s also a custom match browser which lets you see which matches are ongoing and allows you to join them live.

Battle Crates are also on the in-game store, including a Frontline Pack, and Year 2 Pass Holders get exclusive access to an Active Duty Pack. There is also a Year 2 Anniversary Reward for everyone who has played during Year 2 which can be claimed from March 7th.
