A bumper Winter update for Hitman 2 has arrived along with a new DLC for Expansion Pass holders.
On top of lots of new changes and fixes, the update adds returning mission from Hitman 1 – Hokkaido – and is now available for everyone to try, placing Agent 47 in Japan in order to confront a factory owner called Dmitri Fedorov. It’s only available for a limited time, though, and will be available as part of a Snow Festival event through February 12.
It has had some tweaks, though, to fit in with IO Interactive’s new event, with the developer adding some neon lights and additional aesthetic to create a new mood. It also comes with two new items – the Ice Pick and the Snow Festival Suit. If these are unlocked during the event, you get to keep them in your game permanently.
What’s more, the Winter Sports Pack DLC for Hitman 2 will release. This is for Expansion Pass holders and adds five new items to your game. These are the Winter Sports Suit, Arctic Tool Box, Piton, Snowball, and a Quickdraw which works as both climbing gear and a garrote.
The DLC currently cannot be purchased seperately and is only available as part of the Expansion Pass.
