A massive free update has been released for Hotel Barcelona which fundamentally changes the game.
The ‘Under New Management’ update is massive and redesigns the game from the ground up to be the reflective experience the developers wanted from day one.
For instance, movement is faster and recovery time is shorter. The parry system has also been massively improved. This, and the opening sequence and tutorialisation is improved, with better balance in the game’s multiplayer progression as well.
In addition, enemies have been rebalanced and there’s been a slew of multiplayer improvements, all topped off with five massive collaborations with five other indie titles.
There are now five new custom pieces of content you can use in game, those being…
- Demonschool Faye – A cult indie crossover presence inside the nightmare hotel
- Slitterhead Alex – A horror infused guest skin with a sharp silhouette in combat
- Slitterhead Julee – A second Slitterhead crossover that stands out immediately in motion
- Promise Mascot Agency Pinky – A surreal mascot dropped into violent horror for striking contrast
- Promise Mascot Agency Michi – A companion mascot skin that heightens the absurdity of the setting
