EVO 2013 offered up a few surprises. One of those was the announcement of Martian Manhunter as the next DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us.
A full trailer was shown off prior to the Injustice final at the event.
Interestingly, the DLC pack for Martian Manhunter will also add a John Stewart skin for Green Lantern as well as new dialogue.
For those who don’t know, Martian Manhunter is an extra-terrestrial that has been pulled to Earth by a teleportation beam. However, when asking to return home, the technology is unable to return the entity and Martian Manhunter is stranded with no means of returning home.
It’s as this point he decides to fight crime until technology reaches a suitable stage so that he can be sent back. Throughout his DC tenure, Martian Manhunter has teamed with the likes of Batman & Robin. He eventually becomes a key member of the Justice League.
The Season Pass content has already finished. NetherRealm had planned to stop things there but introduced this new character (and potentially others) because of fan demand.
