The remaining three episodes for Life is Strange 2 will all launch this year but only just.

Dontnod have revealed that the highly anticipated next episode – Wasteland – won’t release until May 9th, but then we have to wait until August 22 for Episode 4 and December 3 for Episode 5.

Meaning we still have over a month to wait until Sean and Daniel’s journey continues. After that it’s a near four-month wait to find out what happens next!

The timescales fall in line with what’s happened before. Episode 1 hit at the end of September 2018, then 2 appeared late January.

It’s a different model from the first Season and indeed, what we’re used to with Telltale with episodes releasing monthly. However, due to the ambition of the game Dontnod have previously said that they want to take their time making it.

Wasteland begins with the boys “Falling in with a community of drifters on the fringes of society, the brothers are exposed to new experiences, encounter new friends and challenges, and must confront much about themselves in the process,”

We absolutely loved the first two episodes, so whatever Dontnod are doing is working a treat. Expect a full review once it lands.
