Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Bloodline

March 5th, 2019

Legacy of the First Blade – part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass – will conclude on March 5th with the release of Bloodline. It follows Hunted and the controversial Shadow Heritage as Alexios / Kassandra track down the Order of the Ancients for a final showdown.

Gran Turismo Sport

Five Car Update

March 5th, 2019

Five new cars will be added to GT Sport on March 5th, including the McLaren SLR and the Pagani Huayra. Sixteen months after launch, this game continues to see incredible support. And best of all, it’s a free update!

Destiny 2

Season of the Drifter

March 5th, 2019

Season of the Drifter will begin on March 5th, following the Season of the Forge. This includes changes to Gambit, such as a change of Round 3 to a Sudden Death mode, and adjustments to Blocker types. More as we get it.

Fallout 76

Wild Appalachia

March 12th, 2019

Fallout 76 starts a massive rollout of new content from March 12th with Wild Appalachia. This first season takes the game through to May 7th and will introduce new areas, mechanics, modes, and items. Seems like as good a time as any to get back into the Wasteland!

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom

The Tale of a Timeless Tome

March 19th, 2019

It was tough to choose a Pick of the Month with two of our most anticipated pieces of content this year being packed into the space of a few weeks. We loved Ni no Kuni 2 and have been really excited to get more story-based content. This one seems really interesting and we cannot wait to see the journey continue!

EXPANSIVE PICK OF THE MONTH

Final Fantasy XV

Episode Ardyn

March 26th, 2019

I love playing as the bad guy and that’s exactly what the final piece of DLC for Final Fantasy XV is going to allow us to do. Originally pitched as a four-episode Season, no doubt Square are going to see off a marquee entry into their poster franchise with a bang. Episode Ardyn finally releases on March 26!

Final Fantasy XV

Comrades

March 26th, 2019

Along with Episode Ardyn, the final story-based DLC for Final Fantasy XV, its multiplayer component – Comrades – will receive its final piece of content. March will finally see post-launch support end for the game as Square move onto other projects. What will be next?

Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered and Liberation

March 29th, 2019

Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered and Liberation, plus all of its DLC will launch on March 29th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One! A Nintendo Switch version will launch a bit later this year, but for those with the Season Pass, this is a fantastic freebie you should definitely add to your collection. If you don’t want the Season Pass, though, you can also get it as a standalone.

ONES TO WATCH

Anthem

Echoes of Reality

March 2019

Anthem will begin its extensive roadmap with Act 1 – Echoes of Reality in March. This adds new quests, storylines, locations, fixes, events, rewards and much more. Be sure to keep sticking with the game as it continues to grow through 2019.

Battlefield V

Firestorm

March 2019

Battlefield V will receive its long-awaited, highly anticipated Battle Royale Mode in March. Entitled Firestorm, it will be part of a new batch of content known as ‘Trial By Fire’. It follows Lightning Strikes, and will also add the Battle for Greece as a location, and a Combined Arms mission. Definitely one to watch, especially with EA’s recent success with Battle Royales

Dead Cells

Rise of the Giant

March 2019

Dead Cells will get a massive DLC in the month of March called Rise of the Giant. It was briefly demoed in a Red Bull video recently and it will add new level design, mechanics, and a bad ass enemy called La Gigantus. We’ll be keeping our eyes on this one for sure!
