Boom Boom will be joining the Mario Tennis Aces roster today in some free DLC from February 1.

The update will also add some new balance adjustments, as well as the start of another Co-Op Challenge entitled the Boo Hunt. This will run until March 2, and you’ll be able to unlock some new costumes for Boo.

From February 1, you can unlock Boom Boom in the game by beating the Online Tournament mode. However, Boom Boom will unlock for everyone on March 1.

Boom Boom joins a series of free characters added to the game since launch and Pauline will be the next character to be added to Mario Tennis Aces in March.
