Marvel’s Avengers first major post-launch update will arrive on December 8th.

With a new episode entitled ‘Taking AIM’, Bishop will arrive in the game as a new playable character.

Super Adaptoid will also join the game as a new villian and can apparently copy up to eight super powers at once.

Kate Bishop is an expert archer and joins the game, investigating Nick Fury’s disappearance. However, her investigation turns up more than she bargained for.

This is the first of a two-part narrative arc which will also introduce Hawkeye to the game. Operation Hawkeye: Future Imperfect will release early next year and have Hawkeye as a playable character. This will also serves as a second phase for the game.

Kate Bishop will join Marvel’s Avengers on December 8th.
