At Minecraft Live, Mojang have announced the next major update for the phenomenal Minecraft.

Releasing Summer 2021, the update will come to all platforms, and introduces new cave types, with additional blocks and items.

There will be a redesign of cliff faces, and a new archeology system of some kind – with more details to come.

Copper ore will be a new resources, along with crystal geodes. The caves will even have stalactites.

Of course, there will be new mobs, such as The Warden, and even friendly faces like the Axolotl fish.

Unfortunately, Mojang have confirmed there will be no major Christmas update this year.
