During today’s partner Direct, Nintendo and Capcom have announced Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2.
RIse seems to be taking some cues from Monster Hunter World, but is very much its own unique title.
Releasing March 26th 2021, Monster Hunter Rise will have a digital and physical edition.
There will also be a Deluxe Edition which includes unique armor and gestures. These are listed below.
- Kamurai – Hunter layered armor set
- Shuriken Collar – Palamute layered armor piece
- Fish Collar – Palico layered armor piece
- Gestures (4 Jumps)
- Samurai pose set
- Kabuki face paint
- Izuchi Tail hairstyle
If you pre-order, you’ll also get additional bonus items
- Palamute Retriever Costume layered armor
- Palico Forest Cat Costume layered armor
- Novice Talisman for some extra assistance in the early stages
Unique Amiibo will also be created in preparation for launch and are show off below. Furthermore, Stories 2 and Rise will be compatible with one another in unique, undisclosed ways.
Monster Hunter Rise will release March 26 2021 and Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin releases Summer 2021 on Nintendo Switch.
