A free update will launch for Monster Hunter Wilds across all platforms next week.

As part of a Limited Time Festival of Accord – Blossomdance – there will be new Event Quests with an Arch-Tempered Arkveld, as well as 10 Star Arch-tempered, a Design Contest and a new 10 star difficulty.

High difficulty optional quests have also been added to the game, with 1 free Character and Palico Edit Voucher, a new Voice Language in Latin American Spanish, and a Monster Hunter Stories 3 collaboration with a side mission.

More updates will launch in the coming weeks too, with Flamefete, Dreamspell and Lumenhymn bringing new Event Quests.

The big news, however, is that a major expansion – around the size and scales of Iceborne and Sunbreak is in development for Monster Hunter Wilds and more information will be shared this Summer.

Monster Hunter Wilds is out now on PC, PS and Xbox.
