Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Fighter Takeda Takahashi releasing from July 23

The next DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 is soon upon us with the arrival of Takeda Takahashi.

Trained under Scorpion and first appearing in the MKX Comics, Takeda fights alongside Cassie Cage, Kung Jin, and Jacqui Briggs as the cutely titled Kombat Kids.

Takeda was first playable as a fighter in Mortal Kombat X and returns to Mortal Kombat 1 as the next DLC fighter, following the likes of Peacemaker and Homelander.

If you have the Kombat Pack, you’ll be able to play as Takeda from July 23 with him unlocking for everyone else on July 30. Ferra will also be joining the game as a Kameo fighter.

As of now, Takeda will be the final main DLC for MK1 and it remains unclear what future plans NetherRealms have for the game.

Have you been playing? What are your thoughts on MK1?
