An all-new narrative centric DLC is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 on September 24.
Khaos Regins continues the story in Mortal Kombat 1 with a ‘cinematic narrative’ that’s centered around a ‘perilous threat … from an alternate timeline’.
The story DLC pack goes alongside the long awaited Kombat Pack 2 announcement, which adds more classic Mortal Kombat fighters to the roster, as well as some fun crossovers.
Returning to Mortal Kombat are Noob Saibot, Sektor, and Cyrax, who will be very familiar to fans of Mortal Kombat 2 and 3, but also very different, appropriate to the rebooted Mortal Kombat universe.
Guest Fighters are where things get interesting, though, as Kombat Pack 2 adds three new surprises to the game – Ghostface from Scream, Conan The Barbarian, and the T-1000 who features both the voice and likeness of Robert Patrick.
Interestingly, though Kombat Pack 2 will not be purchasable seperately and is part of the Khaos Reigns package.
Khaos Reigns launches for Mortal Kombat 1 on September 24 across all formats.
