After a successful IndieGoGo campaign, Lab Zero Games will be adding a new character named Squigly to the game’s line-up. The IndieGoGo campaign broke records by raising over $150,000 in a single day and currently sits at $211,721 with 29 days to go.
The minimum pledge is $5 which grants the donator a Skullgirls desktop background and a pre-order for the DLC. The highest tier of $1000, which offers the opportunity to work with the developers to put themselves or their character in the Skullgirls game, has completey sold out.
Two sequels worth of characters have already been designed and for every $20,000 the campaign raises, a new design will be released and added to the list. Players can vote on to which they’d like to see in the game.
Squigly,upon release, will be free to download on every platform for the first three months. After that, the character will cost players $5.
