Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 has a brand new character variant in the form of the Twilight Chomper.

This provides an opportunity for those who just want to purchase the special Chomper variant outright. Otherwise they had to reach 400 player vanquishes during a recent Community Challenge, or log into the game by February 28 if they already have the Unicorn Chomper.

The Twilight Chomper uses the Twilight Warp, which is a remixed version of the Chomper’s original move, Burrow. This only has one charge but it does travel over a greater distance.

Twilight Chomper does have less health, but stronger chomps, though they are less often than other chompers.

The Midnight Snack Upgrade DLC also adds two Legendary Hats, the Super Sticky Goop ability, Legendary Consumables, Rainbow Stars and more.

This comes along the same time as the free content update for PvZ: Garden Warfare 2 which adds the new Soil Survivor Battle Royale mode where you fight until one remains in the midst of a shrinking circle.
