Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was confirmed at Ubisoft Forward last night.

Initially releasing for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 21, 2021, next-gen upgrades will be available at no additional charge for PS5 and Xbox Series S l X as well.

And if you preorder the game, you’ll get your hands on an interesting pre-order incentive called the Origins Set.

Included is an original weapons set, including classic swords and daggers for the Prince, but you’ll also get an original Prince outfit and a Classic Filter.

This seems to let you change between the game’s remade assets and the original 2003 assets for the game at will.

It’s interesting to see this locked behind a pre-order as normally this comes as a packed in feature with the base content.

Prince of Persia The Stands of Time Remake will feature improved graphics, a new combat system, and additional moves for the Prince. You can also play the original Prince of Persia from the menu.
