The Resident Evil 2: Remake was one of the big surprises of E3 and now we know a bit more about it.
Capcom announced it will release January 25 2019, faithfully recreating the original content but bringing it up to a more modern RE era standard. They have also revealed some of the bonus content for the game in the Deluxe Edition which includes an ‘Extra’ DLC Pack.
The Deluxe Edition will add a DLC character costume for Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Leon will receive two costumes, being the Arklay Sheriff and Noir Outfits.
Claire, meanwhile, will get three, which include military, Noir and Elza Walker. The interesting thing to note is that Elza Walker was originally going to be one of the main characters in RE2 before Claire took over the role. Elza was a student attending Raccoon University at the time of the zombie outbreak and wears a unique racing suit.
In addition, three other DLC items will be added, including three Samura Edge guns which are based on gun designs for Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
The Deluxe Edition will be available for $69.99 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
