Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal gets a new trailer to introduce upcoming DLC and the ‘Burst Mode’.
The mode shows your Burst Gauge increasing when actions are performed, enabling you to trigger Burst Mode. Once in Burst Mode, attack power is amplified for a period of time.
Also, when a specific button is pressed in Burst Mode, a special attack, known as ‘ Burst Finish’ can be activated, which wipes through enemies.
And if you defeat a boss character in Burst Mode, the opponent’s costume will be destroyed.
In addition, there will be a ‘Yumi’s Prequel’ story-add on as paid DLC, adding Yumi and Miyabi as playable characters.
You’ll also be able to download free DLC for the game for two weeks, with the characters turning premium afterwards. Those characters are Murakumo, Yozakura, Shiki, Minori, Murasaki, Imu, Ryobi, and Ryona. There is no release date for these characters at this time.
Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is due for release on PS4 on February 22 in Japan.
