A new DLC for Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will drop next week.
The pack will release across all formats and is a free content pack that adds new playable characters, new mini-bosses, powerful relics, items, hats and secrets.
On PC exclusively, Mod Support is also being added into the game.
The Paradox Pack adds The Enchantress as a playable character. Among other things, the Enchantress spends 2 HP to unleash attacks in all directions. Chester will also be playable – a travelling salesman who can haggle Relics prices down.
Some familiar faces are also joining the game as bosses and foes, as well as a trove of new Relics and a shop of new hats.
New side room challenges are also in where you can solve new puzzles and survive waves of enemies, as well as upgrade your items with a new shop, as well as new stages – The Lost City and Explodatorium.
PC owners will also get Mod support to add own content in the game and share with the community, which is simply massive!
The update also adds a bunch of quality of life updates, as well as a new save point system, and even a secret playable character.
What’s more, a third and final DLC pack is in development which will bring online support to the game, but this hasn’t been dated.
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is out now across all formats. The Paradox Patch launches on August 13.
