Rebellion have announced a standalone expansion for Sniper Elite V2 titled Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army.
The original protagonist from Sniper V2, Karl Fairburne, will return in the DLC. The DLC allows for players to team up in 4 person co-op, where they will play as a Russian, a German officer and a scientist. This is starting to sound awfully familiar.
A full campaign is included, taking players through an overrun Berlin to fight off Hitler’s supernatural zombies.
For those who have ever wanted to watch a sniper bullet pierce a zombie’s head up-close, well, now you can.
The trademark X-ray killcam is back, showing off the gruesome results of the bullet’s impact in glorious slow motion. Some of the zombie types players will come up against have been described as “occult commanders, roof-jumping snipers, undead suicide infantry and worse…”.
Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army can be pre-purchased on Steam for £7.99 or purchased on launch for £9.99. If I was you, I’d get practising them headshots.
