Songs of Silence is a strategy game that’s been gaining a lot of headlines and now it’s had a major new update.

Alongside the free 1.2 update to the game, a brand new Lighteaters DLC is also now available which adds a new faction to the game as well as a recall system and extended unit roster.

The premium DLC’s highlight, of course is introducing the Lighteaters who have the ability to both heal allies and drain enemies.

The roster also adds 8 new units, such as a Mawling and Shrieker, and there’s new Hero Archetypes, which feature 6 new vocations and 5 new strategy abilities.

A free 1.2 update has also launched which adds a new scenario ‘The Ballad of Fourfang’ alongside Balancing and Quality of Life Improvements.

Songs of Silence is out now across all formats. The Lighteaters DLC is out now on PC and will arrive on consoles later this year.
