Last year, Sonic Origins re-energised classic titles in the franchises for new formats, now there’s more to come.

Arriving on June 23, following one year since its launch, the Expansion Pack adds 12 new Game Gear games, along with new playable characters and add-on content.

A physical edition of the game has also been confirmed with an art book and reversible cover sleeve.

Sonic Origins Plus can be purchased as one core package, or you can purchase the ‘Plus’ Expansion Pack as an additional piece of content for Sonic Origins.

In addition, Knuckles is now also playable in Sonic CD and Amy Rose, for the first time ever, can be played in the original Sonic trilogy, as well as Sonic CD.

If you also purchase ‘Plus’ you get all previous DLC content for Sonic Origins, such as Extreme Missions, Mirror Mode, new letterbox backgrounds and more.

The expansion pack costs $9.99 or you can purchase the full Digital Edition for $39.99. Sonic Origins Plus launches on June 23, 2023 across all formats.
