We know there will definitely be one Final Fantasy game this year and it’s out as soon as next month.
The uniquely titled Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin from Square and KOEI TECMO already had a demo for people to check out last year and will be focused more on combat.
While the full campaign itself hits next month, we also know there will be three major expansions for the game coming throughout 2022 and they’ll all be tied to the game’s Season Pass, not to be sold separately.
Currently, the Season Pass itself is tied to the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, however, Square have confirmed that the Season Pass will be sold seperately post launch.
Little is known about the expansions, other than the names. They are…
- Trials of the Dragon King
- Wanderer of the Rift
- Different Future
Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition will also give you Early Access to the game, a digital artbook, mini soundtrack, and additional weapons.
You won’t have long to wait for this either, as Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin launches on Xbox, PlayStation and PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive on March 18.
