We’ve got our release date for the next major Street Fighter VI DLC and introduction of A.K.I.
Coming September 27, A.K.I follows the release of Rashid earlier this year and is the 20th playable character in the game.
An A.K.I Arrives Fighting Pass will also go live on September 1, allowing you to gear up in A.K.I themed items.
A.K.I is inspired by her master, F.A.N.G, and has a similarly ‘poisonous personality’. You’ll be able to learn more about them in the World Tour Mode, but A.K.I will also be playable across the wide slate of modes in Street Fighter VI.
A new stage, Tian Hong Yuan, is also added in the game, offering an exciting new battleground to compete on.
A.K.I’s moveset includes a distance-reaching Serpent Lash, an Orchid Spring which produces a puddle of poison, and Claws of Ya Zi, which is a Level 3 Super Art that attacks the entire body.
A.K.I will have several outfits and is available to owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. Two more characters will follow in the Year 1 Pass – Ed and Akuma.
Street Fighter VI is out now on PC, Xbox and PlayStation and is one of our favourite games this year.
