The Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood will be this years’ major Chapter Release

This year, the Gates of Oblivion will re-open as we build towards the release of The Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood, this June.

The next major Chapter for the game was revealed during a livestream last night as players will try to uncover the schemes of Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon. The events of the game are set 800 years before the events of Oblivion.

Blackwood will offer 30 hours of new story, additional quests, and a brand new Companion System which lets you play the content through with an ally. You will also get to explore the Imperial City of Leyawiin, infamous from the original game.

Other features include Oblivion Portal World Events, Rockgrove Trial and it all begins with a March DLC content drop for the Flames of Ambition. This dungeon DLC will set the Blackwood story in motion ahead of the June release.

There will also be a further dungeon drop in Q3 and an end of year story DLC which will take place in the Deadlands.

The Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood releases June 1 on PC and June 8 on Consoles.
