Grasshopper Manufacture has confirmed that Switch exclusive Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will receive a season pass.
Releasing on 18th January, Travis Strikes Again is a co-op arcade action adventure from Suda51, though isn’t considered a direct sequel to previous entries in the No More Heroes franchise. It is, however, set several years after the events of No More Heroes 2.
Played from a top-down perspective, you fight Badman as the protagonist, Travis Touchdown in a fast paced slash-em-up which pays homage to the series.
And now we know the game will receive a Season Pass, featuring two pieces of additional content that add additional characters, skills and stages.
Additional Content Volume 1 is called Black Dandelion and is set to release on February 28th 2019 at a TBD price. This will add a new playable character – Shinobu Jacobs – as well as exclusive skills, Gekkōken-Ran and Isamiashi-Shinobu. On top of that, it adds Badman Ver. ADV Part: 6 variations in total.
Then Additional Content Volume 2 – known as Bubblegum Fatale – is scheduled to release on April 30th 2019 at a TBD price point. This will add Bad Girl as a playable character, along with exclusive skills Cleanup and Prospect. There will also be an additional stage – Killer Marathon – with +1 new boss skill, and Travis Ver. ADV Part: with 1 new additional episode.
The Season Pass will be available to purchase from the launch of the game on January 18th and will cost £8.99.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
