Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s first DLC will be releasing a little later than expected.
Announced via a Steam News Post, its original target release date of August 8th is now moving back to September 24th.
The post states that the team have been ‘putting everything into the development of it, but now see that while the new additions to the game are awesome, the technical quality is not quite there yet.’
As such, the team made the big decision to spend the time polishing and improving the experience as much as possible.
Seems like good reasoning to me, though when the game first released and the DLC first announced via Season Pass, the original launch date was June. While that must be disappointing for those who’ve picked it up, it does seem to be for the best.
Void Shadows comes from Owlcat Games and will offer a massive 15 hour story, with a romanceable companion, new crew members and locations.
