Blizzard have announced that World of Warcraft Shadowlands has been delayed past its original October 27 release date.
Now scheduled for later this year, Blizzard have revealed that there is still work to be done and they want to spend more time developing the expansion.
The expansion doesn’t currently have a new release date, but we do know that on October 13 the Shadowlands pre-patch will still launch which lays the groundwork for the expansion.
Blizzard have said that they have been listening to and building on player feedback, and said this is why they’ve made the decision to work on the game a little bit more.

The main content is ready – such as zones, campaign, level-up, and the questing experience, but it feels like the end game still needs some balance and polish.
More as we get it.
